Our story
Family Feeling: cotton pajamas cut for everybody in one house
One print, five patterns, five size runs. This page is the long version of why that is harder than it sounds.
Family Feeling makes cotton pajamas for everybody in a house. Not a children's line with a grown-up size bolted on the end, and not an adult range that happens to have a kids' version. One print, cut properly for five different bodies.
The whole difficulty is in the word everybody. A print has to work on a twelve month old and on a grown man, and those two garments have almost nothing in common except the cloth they are cut from. A toddler set is snug, short and washed twice a week. An adult set is loose, long and washed when somebody remembers.
So a family print is five patterns rather than one design scaled up and down. The baby version needs a wider neck and a shorter rise. The child version is the straightforward one. The two adult versions need shaping through the body that no child's pattern has at all, and the print has to be re-scaled for each so it does not read as a giant repeat on a small garment.
Five patterns, five size runs, one print. That is why the prints reaching the whole family are a small part of the range rather than all of it, and it is why the count is printed on the home page instead of being implied by a photograph.

Everything here is cotton, and that is a decision rather than a default. Cotton breathes, which matters most for the person in the house who cannot tell you they are too hot. It takes a print cleanly, and it survives the number of washes children's sleepwear actually gets. What it does not do is stay exactly the same size forever: it moves a little on the first hot wash and then settles, and that is the whole reason every care label asks for a cool one.
The studio is careful about what it says. We design pajamas and we put our name on them. What we can tell you is how a set is cut, which sizes it exists in, and where it is going to disappoint you.
That last part matters more in sleepwear than people expect, because the failures are specific and almost nobody prints them. Seasonal prints are made in one run and do not come back the same year. Children grow in the legs first, so a set that fits in September can be at the ankle by January. A crew neck that fights a toddler's head at bedtime becomes a set that never gets chosen. Saying so costs a sale now and again and saves a return every time.
Payment, delivery and returns happen at checkout with our retail partner rather than with us. If a set arrives wrong, their returns process is the fastest route, and you can write to the studio as well. Somebody here reads it.
